Bing Crosby performed the first rendition of the song White Christmas, and it has remained as quite possibly the most enduring rendition to the White Christmas lyrics and melody that was written and composed by Irving Berlin. Irving Berlin penned the White Christmas lyrics during the early 1940s, and the first half-finished version of the White Christmas lyrics was possibly written by this man during 1941.

This song has been acclaimed by most music critics as the most beloved and widely known holiday song, and the White Christmas lyrics are known and sung by millions all over the world during the Christmas season. There are even some music critics that regard the White Christmas lyrics and melody as words and music that captures the overall spirit of the Christmas season.
